Dear All,
I was dismayed to see that Casa Luis (Opposite Las Coronas) has been sold. That is one of my favourite haunts for lunch. Many Spanish dishes you don't get elsewhere (I particularly like the chick pea stew).
Does anyone know what is happening with the restaurant now?

where abouts is it i can't picture it in me head, and also just looking at various sites there seems to be quite alot of the places in cost teguise are up for sale i.e cutty sark, splash. portafino, highlander all regulars of mine. its a bit dissapointing to see!!!!! amongst many other places on the island.
Casa Luis is (or was) between Netto and Cheers Bar - just down from Steptoes in the Santa Rosa Building. It was only open 7.30 am 'til 4.00 pm but attracted as many locals as Brits and did a menu of the day for 7.50 Euro - really friendly Spanish staff.
Can you picture it now?
I too have noticed many bars up for sale - some for a long time - it's such a shame.
