I came home 4 am Monday (Thomas Cook). They got us back in 9 1/2 hours which was good although we departed 11 hours late (not so good for some, not a problem for me). My seat back screen wasn't working and I could only receive the music channels. Again not such a problem as I could have moved to an empty seat across the aisle if I had been desperate to watch the film. (although this won't always be an option) Offered a complimentary drink as recompense. Food outbound was okay (ish) food coming home was dreadful. Crew were polite and efficient. Outbound should have flown Iberworld (had an advisory letter days before departure) but it ended up being a TCX flight as booked. Outbound flight was rather noisy due to a "whistling sound" coming from the door seal, wasn't too bad for me sat 4 rows back but it was for the poor people sat next to it - it drove them potty Fizz

Glad you got booked up Mardon and for a very good price. Have you booked other private accommodation?
We flew with Thomas Cook Airlines twice this year, but not to Goa, it was once to Vegas (another very long flight) and the next time to Egypt. Definitely no seat back TVs. I thought the staff were wonderful, very friendly and very accommodating. However I found the seats very, very cramped. If you are anything bigger than a ladies size 6 - forget it!!! Its very uncomfortable and when the food comes - well I am sure you can imagine!!!
Of course might be a different size of aeroplane they use for Goa and I guess as long as you get there in one piece thats all that matters.

Oh I do hope there is TV's.. Know it sounds silly but i've never been on a decent plane and was kinda hoping this one would be better.

Certainly have. I think it'll be the last time i'll go for a while. So many other places too see.
Thought despite all the bad press Goa is still a great place and really want to show its best sides to my girlfriend since its her first time.

yeah once you,ve been bitten Goa is a hard bug to shake>We have been in march the last 4 years but our daughter got married in Florida last Feb so we had to give it a miss(we tried to put a brave face on it)We then decided to try Thailand in November,it was very nice but at some part of everyday one of us said "i'd rather Goa"we've only been back 3 weeks have already booked for march got a good deal on flights £439 only 77sleeps i'm soooo excited.
