Would it be possible for the webmaster to incorporate a section for the shacks like the one for Hotel reviews that way people could rate them 1-5 as well as putting in a written report.

This would be a good feature IMO.

Our webmaster is not around a lot these days so I think it would be a non runner. However, in fairness, like restaurants they do tend to change from year to year and so would be difficult to keep up to date. I start afresh with our restaurant review threads every year.
