Hi, sorry to leave so little detail.
The main issues are getting a room/rooms ajoining for the 5 of us, hence being so vague.
When you check online with tour companies, with limited time it is very hard to find family of 5 accomodation.
Ideally being central to a town, kids club and entertainment and large pool but not a necessity.
As long as its sunny! :cheers

Hi Robo20

How old are your children? Is it okay to have 2 rooms or do you all want to be in 1

Hi Robo20

Just looked at thomsons site, they have Protur Aparthotel Bonaire,Majorca and Son Baulo,C'an Picafort on offer,we've been to latter and people we met there had twin girls of about 11 and were given interconnecting rooms,we were annoyed because we had booked months before them ,actually paid more, and we were in a small room for 4,only inches between all 4 beds.Hope this helps,T.

Hi, Been to the son baulo last year(had connecting rooms there, room 302, best position at front of hotel!) but want somewhere else this time. kids are 7,8 and 11 so best to have connecting room.
I thought the bonaire only had rooms for 4?

also meant to add, the Son Baulo is approx £800 more this year for same weeks in July! so much for the credit crunch.

hi

I put in search for family of 5,it came out with a one bedrrom apartment so presumably you could put the 3 children in the bedroom, try Portland ,we have booked with them for this year, same holiday as Thomson but a bit cheaper.

You could also ask if anybody knows of apartments with dining options,I'm sure that I've seen some mentioned in Cyprus.T.

Why not go for a villa?

A private pool would be great for the kids.

Use to use a villa but the kids seem to like making friends around a busy pool. Plus leaves us in peace then :tup :)

We are going to Los Zocos next week and we have a two bedroomed apartment which sleeps 5/6 adults and a child. If you want I will let you know what it is like when we get back. We booked with First Choice and chose all inclusive, found it was nearly £500 cheaper to fly from Birmingham than Manchester.

Thanks Jasken06, that would be great if you could let me know. Been to Costa Teguise 3 times before but always stayed in a villa in playa bastian.

Oasislanz club is in a great position centrally, use to walk past it coming from playa bastian every night. Pity it doesnt have more for the kids during the day. We will still check its price.

It would be handy if anyone knows a good place in Puerto del Carmen for 5, just for a change from Teguise

Hi Robo20,

It is just a case of looking around. It also depends on which country you go to and which part of it you stay in. Sorry I can't give any more detail but this has been the case in my past experience.

To Robo20 and anyone else that is interested :)

Just got back from Los Zocos yesterday and was very pleased with what was there. We had a 2 bedroom apartment, which was much bigger than was expected, with room for an adult and child in the living area. The bathroom had a bath with shower together and the bath was big enough for the average person to relax in. The apartment was clean and was visited by the cleaners 5 days out of the 7. If you left the towels in the bath they were changed for clean ones as often as you wanted. There is a number of pools at los zocos, which were cleaned everyday even though because of the weather they werent used much, and plenty of sunbeds. My children are not interested in the entertainment through the day but the animation team did things for 3 age groups, including adults, between 4 and 5 times each day.

Considering Los Zocos is 3 star everywhere was clean and all staff were always busy. We went AI and have no complaints about the food or service from the staff etc.

If you want anymore info let me know.
