Hello conman, chicken is on sale every were in the Algarve done on a bar-be it is great, piri piri is a hot sauce made from red peppers and olive oil. So you could get a cooked chicken and put your own piri piri on it if you wanted, but a lot of restaurants sell a chicken piri piri with chips and salad for 6 euros. If you use the ones round the back streets were the locals eat you should get some great meals and not pay the earth for them.

All the supermarkets sell piri piri sauce in little bottles.

We got some sauce from Lidl
