Hi was just wondering can anyone tell me what the parkim ayaz hotel is like, have seen it in lots of brochures and it looks brill but would like to get some opinions from those that may have been there, The hotel is in gumbet
many thanks
This used to be called the Parkim Palace Hotel. This hotel is in a really good location between the restaurants and bars if you go out the front and straight on to the beach at the back. Nice grounds and pool. Very clean with good staff who are friendly. Nice rooms with a bath as well as a shower unusual in Turkey also hairdryer and plenty of storage space, wardrobes. We were BB which was typical Turkish but there are so many places to eat out. I did have one criticism and that was that despite booking with Direct Holidays in peak weeks the hotel's customers were all German or Russian and as a consequence there was no one to sit in the bar or by the pool and have a chat with. Not a major problem.
I would not hesitate to go back again.
Thanks very much for your replies, i have looked at some reviews for this hotel and have found them very mixed, but i think we are going to go ahead and book anyway, going to book for july so at least we are guaranteed some good sunny weather, not like here in ireland !
Parkim Ayaz has been done up in the last year and has had some very good reviews recently. It is in a lovley position right on the beach and close to all the nightlife too. I'm sure you will enjoy it there. I used to live in gumbet so if you want to know anything just ask.
cheers for that kedi will do x
I booked with Portland and a friend booked with Thomas Cook and it was £30 cheaper.
i am going to parkin ayaz in august been to sami beach which is next door..booked through Direct holidays, they include the extra baggage allowance in the price..
Here's the hotel's website:- http://www.parkimayaz.com/
Now then we have reviews for the Parkim Palace Hotel Bodrum and also Ayaz Hotel Bodrum am I right in thinking that these 2 should be merged and renamed PARKIM AYAZ HOTEL . OR are we better off keeping them separate ie are they still 2 different blocks but just sharing the same facilities?
He wants to go back to Icmeler!
Oh no!! I knew it would involve work - will go and take a look to see just how much
Altered. Thanks folks
Hi i've just booked for the Parkim Ayaz today, booked my flights, tranfers & the hotel all separately on the internet worked out far cheaper than booking with Thomson, Portland, Direct or Thomas Cook, booked the hotel with Asda Travel & the flights with FlyThomasCook.com. Have been reading the reviews and all seem positive anybody got any comments on the bedrooms one site says it has 96 rooms & the other site say 204 is that the confusion over the 2 hotels being made into 1 ?
I am not confident to book independently but may try it for my next holiday. Both Thomas Cook and Thomson brochure states there are 244 rooms.
If you look on the Parkim Ayaz website there are lots of photos of the hotel, food, rooms etc.
Hi hope you have a good holiday let me know how it is & any tips you can give me, we dont go until the 13th June from Glasgow & i got it for £1195 for 2 weeks half board for 3 adults inc transfers thought that was a good price would have cost me £1400 to book with Thomas Cook etc !! \my first time booking it through the internet independently so here's hoping all goes well & we dont ent up in Greece sleeping on the beach !!
Got it for £375 each with Direct Holidays for two weeks HB
Reviews seem good, and it gets a 4.0 out of 5 on Trip Advisor.
Can't wait!
