I must have been lucky, I have ever had a meal that bad that I could be bothered to make a post about it.
I have had meals that I have not enjoyed as much as others or the meal has not been what I expected but when it only cost £2 or £3 I would sooner think about what I would pick next time or what other restaurant I want to try

we stayed at jjs last year the staff were exellant and the hotel
we made the mistake of telling the lads we wanted 5 english breakfasts when we went to bed.
in the morning ,we all sat at breakfast got tea toast and 5 full english breakfasts
it looked great but as we all started eating every one realized that the breakfasts were all stone cold
we think the chef cooked them the night before :rofl
we just all sat giggling the waiters were really concerned we wernt eating it very fast but we didnt have the heart to complain
we kept saying it was lovely what a laugh :rofl :rofl :rofl

EQUINOXE, TITO's ROAD.

First of all I must say that we have used Equinoxe in the past and it has been ok.....but.....This time 6 of us arrived at 7.25pm and the waiter(of sorts) dressed in scruffy jeans and t.shirt took our drink and meal order at about 7.40. Drinks arrived 2 at a time(no trays????) at 8pm.
5 starters came at 8.45 and the final one after several requests came at 9.05 after the rest of us had finished.
The table was not cleared until we called the waiter for another drink, which again came 2 at a time.
At 9.40 we were getting more and more annoyed and other customers were also getting touchy,so we informed staff that if we had not received our main courses all together by 10.00pm we would be leaving without paying. no meals arrived so finally at 10.10 we all left and as we did so the table of 4 behind us said they were doing exactly the same, and followed us out.
We have never done this before and hope we will never have to do it again, but I am glad we made a stand and hope that EQUINOXE learn from it and that other holidaymakers do not have the same problem, but from 7.25 to 10.10 and still no main course is beyond a joke. :rage ....... Paula

Totally agree about Daves place - from what I remember it was an awful place with plastic chairs and tables, only small -seem to recall cats roaming around whilst you were eating (they were definately cats!) and as for the toilets - I'm not squeamish about things like that, spent 6 months in the jungle in Belize and a lot of time in the Middle East working (and not in tourist areas ;)) , but the toilets were absolutley grotesque - set back a bit in the garden which was only dimly lit!
