Thanks for merging David.
Helen Carol and family stayed at the Crystal Park two years ago and the food was good. The bedrooms on the front are very noisy both day and night as it's on a busy road. The rooms overlooking the park at the back are much quieter but you have to pay extra for them. At least your sister and brother-in-law can go on the Amigos bus to the other hotels in the group. We did that when we stayed at the Monika.
They stayed in one of the other hotels a few years back, Jean, but thought that the Cristal Park was better. The reviews don't look too good though.
I stayed at the Villa de Benidorm last March, one of the hotels in the magic chain, and went to the Crystal Park many times for a meal as well as some of the others, and the food is the best in Crystal Park, more choices, but the bar on the right as you go in is very dingy. They also have a seating area outside at the front of the hotel.
Thanks Crispy - I haven't told them anything about the reviews I've read, as they've booked now anyway.
My sister & brother in law have booked a week AI here for the end of this week. Now they are the fussiest people on earth
Just want to point out to Northantsj that she's not talking about me, but her OH's brother and wife
the food was still good (we have been there before).
but very few brits stayed the hotel was full of the older spanish (oh my god) but they never smiled...
and the entertainment was geared just for the spanish.(i do know that the hotel is in spain).
would never stay here again though.........
Oh dear. Well they'll have to see for themselves, but their the type of people who would find fault in Buckingham Palace
im hoping to book for here tonight.. Do you have to pay extra for the rooms with balconys? And is it suitable for us younger 1s? 18-21? Thanks
Stacy, whatever you do, don't book a promo room, they are inside rooms very small and ding and the view is only of somebody elses room/windows. Some of the so called standard rooms have a balcony but they are only small room enough for maybe a couple of chairs and a table. Some of the rooms on the 6th and 7th floor on the Rufaza side have large balconies and I think its just a case of pot luck if you get allocated one of these. We stay here quite often and if we don't like the room we are allocated I usually have a list of room numbers ready that I know have the big balconies and ask if any of them are vacant and they have always let me move to one of those if they are vacant.
Twin/Double Room (B)
How do i gaurantee that i have a room with a balcony? We dont mind if the balconys are small cus we only sit on there to have a fag while we are gettin ready to go out anyways.
Any help would be great! Thanks!
i dont no which room it is that ill be staying.. It just says How do i gaurantee that i have a room with a balcony? We dont mind if the balconys are small cus we only sit on there to have a fag while we are gettin ready to go out anyways.

Sorry to say that I'm fairly sure you cannot guarantee a room with a balcony. My only advice is wait until you arrive and see if you like your room and hopefully you may get a balcony. If you haven't then go to reception and ask them nicely if they have any vacant rooms with a balcony and I'm sure they will help you if they can.
Hopefully they will have some spare when we get there. do ya think we will get 1 if we put it on our special requests?
Were goin 4th June for 1 week
You might as well request a balcony, nothing ventured nothing gained.
ok thanks! Ill make sure to request it when we book it! Thanks
What do they give you so that they no your all inclusive? Is it a card or a wristband? Thanks
It is an all inclusive card and you can use it to use the facilities at the other Magic Hotels also. So you can also have meals etc elsewhere, though I have to say the Cristal Park does have the best restaurant in the Magic group.
ok then thanks. Do they take your picture or something then to put on the card? And is the 24 hour bar free for the whole 24 hours or does it end at a certain time n then you have to pay after a certain time?
24 hour All Inclusive is 24 hour's After midnight it's self service, you just swipe your card to go through a turnstile. When your're at the Cristal Park check out the Magic Cafe the two entertainers Ann Marie & Andy are great.
