Everyone has their own thoughts on Marmaris. We love it and this will be our 10th year in a trot. Marmaris is a large resort and can get very busy, although when you get to know the place well you can easily avoid somewhere that is too busy. There are so many restaurants with every type of food you can think of. The weather will still be good in September and I know lots of people prefer it then as opposed to the very high temperatures of July and August. The beach isn't the best but there are plenty of watersports. Take a trip into nearby Icmeler which is smaller and has plenty to offer too.

yes you will have agreat time in marmaris i have been going to marmaris for the last 12 years and i think it great there is everything you need restuarants lovely food you cant go wrong and theres plenty karaoke bars apart from that turkey is beautyful , iam going to marmaris in june cant wait were are you staying in marmaris,

yes the akasya is about 5- 10 minutes from shops/bars /restaurants and the marina in the centre if you dont wont to walk you can get a taxi outside your apt/hotel i have read some good reports about akasya so you should be ok,
if you need any more info just let me know and the temps should be great you must try the restaurants on the beach front ,

We are going back to Marmaris for our fourth time this year and we love it. We go around the same time as you and it is lovely and warm but not unbearable, there is lots going on but its not too busy and this is why we choose mid september to go.
