We've booked our flights for 21/07/09 until 04/08/09 - but are having trouble finding an apartment at a decent price somewhere in the Costa Del Sol - pref Benelmedena,Fuengerola or possibly Nerja.All the websites we have checked there are no suitable places.We need a 1 or 2 bedroom(2 adults & 2 kids) , with aircon & sky TV(for the kids) and a pool.We've found a few on various websites but the prices are around 650 euro upwards per week , which in the present financial climate is too expensive.
This is our first time holidaying in the Costa Del Sol , we normally go to the Costa Blanca and have never found finding a place to stay a problem.
Can anybody recommend a website or know of anyone with a place to rent - we've been scouring the web for days now with no luck.

I feel your pain! We want to go to any resort in costa del sol in august, we're not bein particularly fussy but still cant find a reasonably priced apartment with a pool and in walkin distance to the town.. its so much tougher than i thought! Please let me know if you find any good sites!

In spite of the supposed recession, July and August months are as busy as usual it would seem. Because these months cover the school holidays, many people are tied to those months and book early to avoid disappointment.
However, other months are quieter, and bargains may be available for those who have more flexiblity with their dates.
