I mentioned on here a couple of weeks ago i could have got two weeks A1 on the 16th November £700 pp for 2 weeks. I couldnt book then as i was spending all my money via crown currency exchange getting dollars for my other holiday in June (USA). Now i am in a position to book and thomson have shot up from £700 to over £800 per person for the same time. Portland are the same, the only other hope i have is today booking with thomas cook/direct holidays. Their prices have com in at £1528 total, so is abit cheaper.
I rang thomson and asked why the holidays are going up. She told me that the big tour companies are buying up less hotel rooms and charging more, some you will not get discount on at all.
Also she told me that a lot of customers are pulling out of euro countries favouring Egypt and Turkey this year, hence why the prices have shot up.
It is a dilemma, please check wisely

.....
it would cost a fortune. I never liked A1, i always ate out in NB and still do, but at our hotel never had a problem queuing up, and it was very nice food. We are on the beach by 7.30 and sozzled by 8
What on earth is going on?
Egypt will soon be top
then we can out rule the Russians and Italians
