Searching the net doesnt give much info. Nearly all sites show a legal drinking age of 21 although there was one that said it was 18 and one even said no legal drinking age!

I havent actually stayed in Tunisia on an all inclusive basis, so cant say what would happen for them.

I have to be honest though, I wasnt aware of the age limit before your post prompted me to search.

Hi emso

I don't know to be honest, but in the US the drinking age is 21 in most states.

Well, obviously this is not a 'legal' answer, but last summer in a '5 star' AI hotel in Hammamet, nobody queried my 19 year old son having alcoholic drinks. He doesn't look old for his age either. We never thought about it at the time.

Hi

Is there any further info on the drinking age limit, as I am taking my 18 year old there next week?

Thanks

Surely its ok when they are 18, my daughter and her bfriend are going to Tunisia on sunday, they wont be pleased if they're not allowed. Never heard this before for tunisia. Anybody else shed some light on this please. I should imagine they SHOULD be ok. They would have gone somewhere else otherwise!!!!

As Kath says, it's difficult to find out from a websearch, although a number of places state 21. Could phone the Tunisian Embassy and check, if it's important to know?

Legal drinking ages around the world do vary from the one we have in this country.

Don't know if this will be much help and doesn't help with the question you have asked, but we have recently got back from Tunisia, my 17 year old son bought bottled larger from the bar with no problems at all, but we were only on half board basis.
