We are flying to Dalaman but still deciding on a hotel.
Ideally a hotel with some charm, some gardens and trees in it, close to sea and with sea view, nice beach, charming town to stroll in....and dont take this the wrong way please....a hotel not overrun or catering for Russians or Germans....if mainly British all the better.
Thanks
White Rabbit

Olu deniz is very "british" white rabbit
.Our european friends tend to prefer The med coast i.e resorts served by antayla airport but the russians dont seem to be particular and you will see them everywhere . I certainly dont remember seeing many in olu but havnt been for a couple of years.
The belcekiz beach hotel clientel is mostly british with a few turkish but this is A/I and not sure if this appeals to you.

Thanks Ellie and everyone for your thoughts. I am not racist, I have Russian and German freinds, but we just feel like getting away from it all.
Ellie, what hotel is good quality away from it all, quiet, no hassle? Our flight is to Dalaman. I Like look of Ole Deniz but some say it is quite commercial now and probably too so for us.
Thanks everyone

everyone likes different things, olu deniz is lovely but its definitely geared up for the brits and is slightly commercialised, if you want a traditional turkish resort where there is mainly turkish holiday makers and a few brits and has a nice beach than as ive mentioned before akyaka or another quiet resort would probably be better for you. this hotel i supposed to be nice, and is on the beach. have a read up on resorts and look at the photos ive put in the gallery of akyaka

White rabbit the Belcekic Beach hotel is a pretty hotel with lovely gardens and trees, the rooms have views of gardens and flowers and the mountain, when you eat in the restaurant you feel as if you are surrounded by mountains and from certain tables you can see the sea.
The Olu Deniz Beach resort is next door and is also very pretty once again with nice gardens and trees you can stroll to the little town from both hotels.
The Montana Pine resort is as it says set in pine trees in a stunning setting.
I am at a bit of a lose as you say you don't want Russians and Germans, but say you also dont want Brits which is who you will be with in Olu Deniz.
These are all holiday resorts ergo they attract tourists of a few nationalities as well as Turkish peoples.
As Mike says says you may be looking for something that doesn't exist. If you want to go to a more Turkish resort then I think Karen recommended Akyaka and others have recommended Kas and Kalkan which are smaller resorts from what I read. It is always a compromise and you just have to go for a 'best fit' approach.
If you are a tourist and have a tourists requirements then you will probably find yourself amongst other tourists.
