What time does it get dark - Turunc

As the clocks went back today I really enjoyed the daylight hours until about 7.00pm and the sunsetting until about 8.00pm and was wondering does anyone know what time it gets dark in Turunc during the month of June. Have been there end of September/begining October where it got dark very quickly and very early in the evening. Is it different in June?

The sun sets in The South coast of Turkey at about 8.30pm in June and it is dark by about 9pm. It stays light until later in the UK but I'm not sure why that is :que

It's because we are further North so longer days in the Summer shorter days in the Winter, the closer you get to the equator the more equal days become all year round.

Thanks, I knew we had longer summer days and shorter winter days than Turkey but not the reason why :tup
