And here is the Thomson link also. But its only the 2009 one on their site at the moment but will give you an idea anyway.

And here is the First Choice brochure site.

All of the companies have wedding planners to help you with your arrangements.
Good Luck.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Angie and Parker

Angie, I've had a good look at the links you posted, and none of them offer any weddings to Majorca for some reason?

I will keep researching, but any further information on Weddings in Majorca and costings would be really helpful.

Thanks again.

Kind Regards

Chris

Try a look at http://www.hotelvillaitalia.com for a really special wedding - there are a few photographs under the gastronomy heading to give you an idea. And Puerto Andratx is very classy.

Hi
There are a few options available to you.
I would suggest that first you look to see what type of guest list you are looking to take ie.) is there children and also what lengh of time you are all going to stay.
Many hotels in high season have a min stay of 5 or 7 nights.
I can recommend the Santa Ponsa area as this is fantastic for couples
There are some private wedding planners on the island, however if you want to contact any of the hotel chains then you are able to speak their groups dept and they will normally arrange most of the event.
I work over here on the island and we have dealt with a few events if you are interested.

Hiya chris
I'm getting married out there this August (09) so can hopefully offer you some advice.
For which resort - it entirely depends up on what type of wedding you want - eg Deia and Soller are both stunning and the mountains provide a brill backdrop for photos and there are tons of hotels out there that offer wedding packages (I can prob provide you with some links to these if you want them), but it depends upon the people that you have coming out with you - we've gone for a more touristy resort on the other side of the island as we felt that this offered more for people coming out with children - however we're holding the wedding just outside the resort in a monastery on top of a mountain followed by a reception at a golf club overlooking the sea... So not using a hotel at all. To be honest you can have any type of wedding out there that you want - eg hotels, beaches, old farmhouses, churches, monasteries, private villas but if you choose anything other than a hotel it takes a lot of organising...

For some reason the bog standard holiday companies don't offer any wedding services in majorca so if you want a hassle free wedding or anything out of the ordinary you'll have to find a wedding planner. The wedding planner Im using is a lady called Jane Sancho - who is probably the cheapest one on the island - she charges €50 per hour of work she does for you with a minimum charge of €400 - believe me this is cheap we were getting quotes for up to €2500. However you could plan it alone really if your just planning on having the blessing and reception at a hotel - theres plenty of people that have got married out there that can provide you with contact details for musicians florist hairdressers etc.

Hope all thats given you a little bit of help

Hi Chris,

Me and my husband moved to Mallorca a year ago and are getting married later this year. We looked at various wedding planners who all seemed to offer very traditional packages (not very exciting!).
Then we came across idomallorca.co.uk who are taking care of everything and we've already had a lot of fun organising everything. They have a lot of experience on Mallorca and they seem to know everybody, unlike us when we arrived!! They have also found us the perfect photographer who is offering a really low price for 2009. I am unsure if this includes bookings for 2010 but it's worth a try. They're called capturemallorca.com.

Hope this helps.

Jenny

P.S. We're getting married in Deia. I highly recommend it. Beautiful scenery!
