there are loads and a great place on the beach for an evening drink and a hubble bubble pipe to relax and watch the stars 
oh so jealous, you have to eat at the belcheiz beach hotel resteraunt it's amazing

Thank you for your replies i have been having researching was a last minute ideato go away not usual for us to go out of our comfort zone so thought why not.

Yes I have been to the Tequila bar a few times. It does play Rock music as opposed to Pop music. It's a very pleasant bar and it's nice to while away an hour or so of an evening. It has an extensive cocktail menu if that is your thing and also sells all the normal stuff larger style beers, coffees etc. The guy who runs it is really nice. It's in the little high street you cant miss it.
The Buzz bar on the seafront is nice to but you pay for the views. Can't remember specific prices though, but probably about the same price as here.

I'm sure I've read on another site that Tequilla bar was recently completely destroyed by a fire. May have to look elsewhere if true.
Hubby will be disapointed anyone know of any other bar that play simular music thankyou for info 
there are so many bars and im sure if you asked they would put some on, there was a rock bar in hisaronu but im not sure if it is still there

That's really sad. I was there last summer and it was still going strong then. It did have it's own web-site I beleive. I hope nobody was hurt in the fire.

The Tequila bar was burned down, no-one was hurt but all work for start of season had just been finished.

Try the Route 66 steak bar-good host, music and massive portions on the food front.
Help Bar on the bech fron is great for the day or the night-really high standard of food whether you go day or night
There is also a gorgeous chinese at the very end of the main strip, opposite the jewelers-get there early sit on the terrace and watch the sun go down.
The Olive Grove/Garden is also lovely-slow roasted lamb mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

there are plenty of places to eat and bars to drink at, but it's not a resort like tenerife's playas de las americas :offtop. its more of a place where you sit, drink n listen to music, there maybe one or two with disco type music but not many, i stay just around the corner from olu, but friends who went last year said it was not their place !! they liked the disco type bars next to each other not a " couples " bar / restaurant !!
