Have been away so haven't seen your post. Wouldn't be able to help with the villas as we go to a hotel in the resort. HOwever I do know the resort. There are a few places around where you can eat out. We like Sa Gavina which most people seem to do. However there are others around I haven't really heard anything bad apart from a Chinese one but I don't know which one as we haven't been to any Chinese places. There are restaurants both in Arenal and Coves Noves which is close. Like with everything people like different things and owners sometimes change from year to year so when you get there ask around.

There is also a small fishing village nearby (which probably needs taxi) called Na Macaret and I have heard that there are two really nice restaurants there.
