Here's one for the ladies!
I usually straighten my hair as its very wavy. However, its just got long enough for me to leave the waves after washing my hair and it look nice! The only problem is its a little frizzy!! Im off to egypt a week Friday and need some ideas of light products (so as not to weigh the waves out) that will make my hair looked styled rather than crazy frizzy!!
Any advice much appreciated
John Frieda does a nice "shape and shine". It's lovely and light, but does texture your hair. I don't know what colour hair you have, but the "spun gold" is lovely. It comes in a silver tin.
Its GOT to be John Frieda Frizz Ease everytime.....No.1 frizz product for several years and has won many awards.....it's excellent
I've used that too - excellent
TIGI Beadhead serum, works for me, its in a big bright pink tube, it smells lovely.
ive used the frizz ease too, it worked ok for me
Frizz ease is good but I'm using Aussie Miracle at the moment....and it is
Seriously it is quite awful when you know 5 minutes inland it will be beautiful sunshine and here by the coast you cannot see beyond the end of your drive!!!
Oh and John Frieda Frizz Eaze does not work for me at all!!!
I've recently tried Lee Stafford Poker Straight Dehumidifier (got it for Christmas) and been reasonably impressed. You spray it on dry hair, which is a change from may of the products out there. There's also a "Climate Control" part of the range that I'm going to test-drive. Frizz Ease just doesn't do anything for my hair. I'm in the sugarbabe61 camp on this one (a true victim of northern weather).
Pantenne do a serum that is quite good, you put it on after ytou wash your hair, while it is still wet and you can also add a little more if it get's frizzy.
I have used Elvive serum for years,I have just bought Charles Worthington ,No Frizz because it was on offer in Wilkinsons. It is great, leaves my hair lovely and soft, and I have found I can style my hair much easier. Dont think I will be going back to using Elvive.

I found the serums don't last very long when you're in the sun all day, they seemed to evaporate very quickly making my hair very dry and frizzy. I was given a tip by one of the army wives one year to use a little wax, while it might look a little heavy at first it evaporates in the sun but not as quickly as the serums, kept my hair frizz free all day anyway.
That was until I was recommended Trevor Sorbie Curl Cream. I swear it's a miracle, just apply to towel dried hair liberally then leave hair to dry naturally it makes my hair frizz free on those long balmy nights.
My sil has straight hair but she uses it on holiday too as her hair can frizz in the hot weather.
It doesn't leave hair heavy at all btw and actually increased the wave slightly in my hair.
Another one to try which is a bit more expensive is Tigi foxy curls it comes in a round pump bottle that's purple. It leaves your hair so silky and frizz free too.
Its what I use, and it's amazing (gives curls that look like you have just rolled out of bed, but they don't look messy, frizzy, or too well defined and 'done'). I can't imagine what I would do it this is ever discontinued - I've used it since I was 14, and wouldn't consider anything else.
