Hiya, Ive decided to treat the other half to a night in a Brizzle hotel next sat (hes a Bristol Rovers fan and insists on going to the game!) Anyway I think Ive decided on the Marriott city centre as the rates arent bad £74 per night and it has a spa/indoor pool (guess where I will be while he is at the footie!)
It is next to Cabot Circus and Ive noticed the hotel has an NCP car park nearby, does anyone know of anywhere nearby we could park without having to pay extortionate rates? Also I am assuming the pool and leisure facilities will be complimentary? sorry if I sound a bit thick but dont want to book the hotel only to find have to pay a fortune on top!
Thanks
Stace
Ive just answered my own question- the spa etc is complimentary. I have booked the hotel and have found out parking is £9 if you are staying there. Still expensive but not as bad as it could be I suppose. Has anyone else stayed here recently? reviews seem pretty mixed.
We are off to Bristol next sat and are staying near the new Cabot Circus shopping centre. Are there any decent places to eat and have a drink there or are we best off heading in to town? I dont know Bristol very well at all- how far is the main town from Cabot Circus?
i have not been there yet but drove past meny times and have heard its fantastic shopping.
Went to Cabot Circus Christmas Shopping last year - fantastic, can't wait to go again!!
Thanks got back yesterday, had a great time. I was pleasently surprised at how nice the city was and you are right Cabot Circus is great for shopping!
I'm going to Bristol at the end of August for a week to stay with a friend. Although I'm sure she will have loads of ideas, does anyone have any recommendations of places to go or to eat as I'd like to treat her whilst I'm there?
