I am off to Vegas in August and was wondering what the average prices are for food and/or drink. I have been a few times before but the last time I was there was three years ago and I know the rate is not so good at the moment. I have heard it is really expensive - can anyone give me an idea. I usually eat in places like Cheesecake Factory, Grand Lux Cafe, Outback etc.
Also i'm off to New York for the first time in October and I would be grateful if you could give me an idea of prices over there.
Much appreciated.
Luci is there just now. She's our reporter on the ground. Hopefully she will see this post and give you up to the minute info.
Clearly from you mention of the Cheesecake Factory, Grand Lux and Outback, you are very much at the same "food level" as we are, and no doubt you appreciate good quality food and value. I think there is always a time and place in Vegas for a good blowout, but dining doesn't have to be expensive.
Yes prices are pretty much the same as last year and the year before, just the drop in exchange rate making it more expensive.
