Do they have "comfy beds" in Goa?

Anywhere?

By British standards I mean?

As I understand it, no they don't.
That is why I am asking if anyone knows of any!!

This will be my first trip to Goa.
Can anyone give me more details on the Regal Park apartments and the Regal Beach apartments?
I have found availability in both complexes but I am undecided.
Comfy bed is main priority!!
Travel dates 5th to 19th Nov 2009
Any advice appreciated.
Thanks
Pam

OK, well as I understand it, after 16 years of long stay, no letting accommodation has comfy beds.

Be that hotel, guesthouse or apartment...............0

Quite likely that Five* places like the Taj might have but obviously, at a price.

Interior sprung mattresses are available here but are very expensive. They are also vulnerable to the humidity during monsoon, so I hear.

If you are very very lucky someone might pop up on here with the one and only comfy bed available in Goa, but I doubt it.

Can't say about the beds in any accommodation. But all apartments in Regal Beach and Regal Park, are exactly the same layout, and were built to a very high standard. Look at Ownersdirect and you can see the insides of the apartments.

Hi Pam

You do not say where the Regal Park apartments and the Regal Beach apartments are in Goa.

I do not even know if they are in north Goa but if the bed is number one priority, I will second Debs statement the only comfy one I found in twenty years was at the Mahrinha Dourada in Arpora, the rest have been very very firm to put it politely.

Sorry Pam, have just read the subject line the MD is totally the oppersite end of town by about seven miles, and I did not touch a drop last night, well only a small honey Bee

Both are in North Goa. Regal Park is opposite Highland Beach Resort. Regal Beach Enclave is nearer the beach I am assuming. Standard of beds is up to the owners. We have great mattresses but don't rent out.

the regal properties are built to a very high standard and are privately owned they were built by shelly the owner of the casa sea shell and the sea shell restaraunts so with the properties being private the furnishings will vary but you would hope that the owner of the property has slept on beds in other places and will have b ought better :really

Regal Beach is behind Chandra's the large store. Or turn right down the lane just opposite Fisherman's cove on the main road. As everybody says, the quality of the furnishings us up to the owner. :duh

not the last time I went.

Nice hotel but typical bony beds!!
