Do you mean the LITERA Marmaris Relax? If so there's no reviews on here but there are some on Trip Advisor. Have you booked already?

yes i did mean litera marmaris relax no havent booked yet just got the price this morning and wanted to find out about it and also turkey as i have always went to spain before but the prices have went through the roof this year. got the price from the co-op travel the company is goldtrail holidays never heard of them.

I suggest you read the reviews on Trip Advisor!
Someone has just come back and said it was awful,thats unusual for the beginning of the season.
There are also photos and they show a lot of steps and it looks as if its built on a hill.
You will find most of the Litera hotels have unfavourable reviews and as its your first time to Turkey it may put you off going back.
I would stick with Thomson and Thomas Cook.

I agree, read the reviews about the hotel. Goldtrail was the holiday company that was recently shown on the BBC Watchdog programme!! To be honest I'd avoid it. How many of you are going (adults , kids etc), flying from which airport and are you looking for an All Inclusive?

totally agree with last 2 comments, goldtrail have loads of complaints, and the litera hotels have had their names changed from previous years,possibly to hide previous years bad reports, someone might know the old name of this hotel , but be very careful booking this, no point in booking an all inclusive if its so bad you cant eat there , lots are saying holiday from hell !!! the reviews on trip advisor are horrendous for this hotel

turkey is a lovely country and it would be a shame for your first visit to stay somewhere really bad

It was formally called Abacus Green so there may be reviews on here under that name.

previous to the abacus green it was the club sarba hotel where it was on watchdog , loads had food poisoning etc, looks like they havent improved it much

lesmac im sure you will find something better, have you tried pricing up a diy hotel, sometimes it works out cheaper especially as you are all adults, so the free kids places are not needed. i always price up packages and diy's

Definitely avoid any hotels with Litera in their names as they have a very bad reputation for poor quality.

There are loads of good hotels though so I'm sure you will find something at a decent price. As the others have said have a look at the reviews before you book.

isnt there a litera hotel that goldtrail have thats advitised has marmaris but is actually no where near ,, its way out along the coast ,,the boat trips pass it as the leave vthe harbour ,, wev met a family last year who were staying there ,,said it was a nitemare ,nothing near it had to get buses and taxis to get into marmaris ,,sure they said about half hour trip

Yes, there is a Literia Hotel on the road to the big yatch marina, and it is in the middle of nowhere, I would hate to stay there. On the Goldtrail subject, they do have a lot very iffy hotels and apartments, but do have good ones as well. I am returning for my 5th visit to one of their B & B's it's near Wonderboys, so not too far from the beach and centre, it's friendly, clean and the rooms are fairly big compared to some hotels I've stayed in. Don't write off Goldtrail, just research your hotels first, and with Onur Air you get 20 kgs luggage allowance! I'm off to Icmeler next Sunday, if anyone wants to know my choice of Hotel please pm me.
