OWN FOOD

You can take your own food to the beach if you like. When you say butties do you mean sandwiches? If so you wont find shops selling ready made sandwiches like in the UK. You could take some bread and cheese and stuff though.

there was a shop on the left of olu deniz on the front (lookin from the sea )that sold big crusty bread buttys and crisps... i read no food on the beach so me and the kids ate under the shade of a tree,,, but then ( gulitily) saw lots of people eating on the beach so as we made sure we left no rubbish we did the same, and had a pic nic everyday,,,,,,,

We were in Olu Deniz last weekend and there was a 'sandwich shop' along the front towards the Belcekiz Beach Hotel. Not sure i've ever noticed it before but it would seem a good idea for those not on All Inclusive.

There is a mini market opposite the taxi rank at the bootom of the hill road into Olu where you can buy "butties". e.g. chicken salad, tuna mayo, etc. All come on big bread rolls. Made for you while you wait. We plan to use it when we go to the beach in August.
