I don't know everything about Benidorm and having read this thread over and over again, I wasn't trying to tell anybody anything, I gave an opinion about the resort being quiet and as I personally have no use for British bars, but I appreciate that many people go to Benidorm for these bars, I was giving an opinion about all of Benidorm as a resort and as another poster has stated, just because these bars are quiet, it doesn't necessarily mean the whole resort is quiet.
I'm passionate about Spain and the Spanish, so I personally do not want to see their shops and traditions being eroded by anyone.

I answered a post made by rwb46 about Spanish pensioners and their supposedly free holidays by saying it wasn't true and I left it at that, but the poster who lives in Benidorm came into the thread and told me it was true without any evidence and emphasised by using capital letters, so who was telling whom and then proceeded to be sarky.?

I don't go into the thread about bars because I know nothing about them, I have made 4 posts in 24 pages and one post was to assist a member find a Spanish song, one was to verify telephone numbers in Benidorm and the others were to ask about Junior "Mad Maori" because he used to share a coffee with us in the Vina del Mar café before he did his act at the "talk of the coast"
I'm not always right and I'm not always wrong either, but I usually do try and know what I'm talking about with evidence before posting, and I do know how to apologise and have done so on this board or by pm.

You have been a valuable source of information for me too, not only on Benidorm, but on the Costa del Sol forum also. Your recommendations, help and advice has always been absolutely spot-on. You really do go out of your way to help others on these forums.

Keep up the good work Sanji - the majority of us on here appreciate it

I just got back from benidorm on saturday 23rd of may,I go every year at this time and I did not find it quiet at all.In fact I would say it business as usual.There are a couple of bars closed but the popular ones like the black chicken,western bar,and the clubs were still very busy.Plenty of bars selling pints of beer for 1 euro as well.

It is now (finally) getting busier here. It's been a long, quiet winter for us all, but is picking up nicely now!!! (thank gawd!!)
