Hi guys!
I'm planning to visit Tunisia this summer. I'll be staying in one of the hotels in Sousse. I was just wondering what langauge can I communicate in with the staff and other people I meet in Sousse and Tunis. I speak both standard Arabic and French as well as English obviously. Should I use standard Arabic or French or English? All advise will be greatly appreciated.
The following link may be of help re Standard Arabic and Tunisia

Similar in Morocco I found, with my few Arabic words and phrases, although greetings familiar in Islam worldwide were recognised even with my pronunciation.
You'll find that most people working in jobs that bring them into contact with tourists and/or have University lentrance level qualifications will speak all three with equal ease. Generally English is widely spoken in the hotels used by most visitors. There is a separate dedicated forum here for Tunisia that you might want to take a look at - it has a wealth of info on Tunisia on it and loads of great tips for prospective visitors.
However It seems your other languge skills will be more than sufficent
