Hi
can anyone tell me if they know anything of these two A.I hotels i am on a budget and may be better for me to go AI
Mirage Hotel
S Hotel
Also has anyone anythoughts on these apartments
Prestige apartments
Kurt Apartments
thanks
Not worth going Ai in Icmeler big mistake to do so, Tried this once in 19 occasions and only lasted 3 days as found everything very repetitive, The other four days we didnt use any facilitys at the hotel with the exeption of sleeping in the room, We ate out all the time, I do understand why your thinking about Ai, But Icmeler is so different from other resorts that you feel as you know everyone and everywhere makes you so welcome.
im considering s/c too, im a full time carer to my daughter and this is my 1st break to be able to go away on my own, to relax and enjoy a bit of shopping so im trying to do it on a budget,
maybe ill just look for a nice apartment in a quiet area but close to beach and centre.
the search continues i have plenty of time but want to make sure i get the right place as it a bit scarey going alone!!
Another hotel springs to mind here again in the Old village. English lady own's it with her Turkish husband.

If Rwb hasnt talked you out of it we have stayed at the Mirage . It was about 3/4 years ago now and the same year they changed to A/I . Formally the Mirage hotel and apartments but at that time it was opened under new management as I believe the varlik resort or something similar (german or dutch owners I think). looks like it is now back as the Mirage .I must of done a review at the time but can't seem to find it so will have a dig through later when I have more time .The hotel had great reviews so we booked on a B+B basis . We then found out that they had changed to A/i since our booking was made but that the hotel were honouring those bookings .
We had a great time there . Brilliant location close to the beach and whilst there are plenty of bars/restaurants along the street it isnt noisy but you can walk 5 mins to find it . Rooms were nice , two swimming pools , both a decent size one quieter and the other was very lively with a waterslide and DJ playing music and a play area for the little ones with a huge trampoline . They had some evening entertainment too and they have a bar that was open to non residents onto the street . When we were there that was not included in the A/I but if you didnt want to pay people were bringing their A/I drinks down from the upstairs bar .Food was pretty good too . not a huge selection but what there was was very good . the salads and cold dishes were particularly good from what I remember and I can remeber looking forward to my meals there.
Things may of changed since we were there so have a look through more recent reviews but if you have a bargain we certainly enjoyed our stay there.
Two years ago, due to the awful weather here, decided to have a week abroad before daughter returned to school in 10 days time. We were limited to departure dates etc and besides Majorca, the only other availability from local airport was Turkey. I had never been to Turkey before and as it was just myself and daughter(then 13) going on the trip I admit to having a few reservations, however booked a week to the Golmar Beach Hotel in Icmeler. I needn't have worried, the hotel which was in a nice location and had beautiful views across the bay. Icmeler was a nice, friendly resort and we had a lovely holiday. Felt really safe walking around the resort so I would echo the recommendation of the other posters of Icmeler being suitable for a single traveller. Hope this helps put your mind at rest and let us know where you decide to book, sounds like you deserve a nice holiday
The Blue Rainbow is almost on the beach and is All Inclusive, or The Elif or The Efes Inn are both on the beach and b and b or half board.
If you fancy self catering then I recommend Babadan Apartments, if you scroll back to April 3rd, 2008 to find the Discussion on Babadan Apartments. All the best.
thanks ever so much for all your replies
