hey, me and my sister are going to crete early july. Were staying in the San Giorgio Apartments in malia and i was wondering if any one had stayerd there before?

they are in thwe old town of malia, up a bit of a hill but doesnt take long to walk into the main part of malia.
The complex itself is lovely and the family that runs its are wonderful.

Theres some quality restaurants in the old town so your apartments will be ideally located if you want to eat out somewhere nice.

There is actually a San Georgio restaurant - superb.
Creta Taverna is much better - head along the main road towards Stalis and youwill find the best restuarant for Greek food in Malia.

8 friends and I, will be in Malia the 8th July - 22nd
unbelievably excited!!!
bit worried about all the bad press for Malia at the moment though,
don't fancy getting head kicked in on holiday ha-ha

We are staying inbetween Malia and Stalis.
That way we can alter between the two for meals and nights out and stuff.
Im a bit of a foody (training as chef) so i wanted to be able to go to some good restraunts!!!
also, do you know how far the beach is from the town?
i want to get some serious sunbathing done

ahh i actually dont know.. i think its about a 15 - 20 min walk from where im staying..which is in the old town of malia or something...
