Morairaway advertised its site on at least two large, British-based rentals site Holiday-Rentals.co.uk and Holidaylettings.co.uk as well as at least one other, in Spain.

Yes not good at all.
Seems "too easy" to do this sort of scam. The people doing it are real scum. Imagine turning up to a property that doesn't exist. Tired kids, long flight and then nowhere to stay.
