I have been to Icmeler 19 times now, And i have never had a bad meal anywhere, I have no preferences where I eat, But if your looking for something different try the Loveboat restauraunt it's advisable to book in the afternoon to save waiting time.

Same here - never had a bad meal anywhere in Icmeler, and there are loads of choices, from the kebab/pide places for a cheap, quick meal to the more upmarket ones.
If you're looking for really authentic Turkish food, I'd highly recommend the Kerem, on the canal. The owner and her family are lovely and welcoming and the food is gorgeous, especially her famous cheesecake! The Selam and Cafe Rose are also very good for authentic Turkish food, but really, there's so much choice and I've never been disappointed with anything.

Got to agree with the previous two replies. I've just returned from my first ever trip to Icmeler and every meal we had was fantastic. We ate at Ozzys (in the old village), Selam, Wayside, Chef (next to Loveboat), Cupids, Lighthouse and Florida and I'd recommend them all, with Selam and Wayside probably the best.

As for places to drink there are that many choices just find a bar thats as busy or as quiet as you want.

Some good advice there, thanks. :cheers

The Lemon Tree is also very good, as is Vince's and if you like steaks, I'd definitely recommend Harry's Steakhouse too.

Just returned from Icmeler and our main recommendation would be OZZY's in the Old Village (definitely a favourite and the sunday night quiz is a hoot even if you aren't into pub quizzes).

We also particularly enjoyed SET (on the main road junction in the centre) and IL MAESTRO (near the beach).

Although we didn't eat there, others told us that they enjoyed the HARMONY Bar meals but we did visit Harmony for the free Stellashow (a drag artist formerly from Funny Girls in Blackpool).

As had been said before though, we didn't have a bad meal in the entire 2 weeks we were there. Our worst meal was a roast chicken and chips we had when we first arrived (the chicken was a bit dry). However, it was 2-45 in the morning and it was cheap!!! ;)

Ozzys do the same meals as everywhere else, pasta's, steaks, Turkish dishes etc etc.

Ozzys will basically do anything you want - local or International, take your pick.

If you really want to splash out try OZZY's fish baked in salt (you need to order the day before as Ozzy gets the fish fresh). However, be prepared for the attention of the entire restaurant when your meal arrives as it comes complete with fireworks and full razzamatazz. When I get my pics uploaded I took some of the meal arriving!! However, it isn't cheap - we paid 35YTL each - but worth every lira!!

Edit Update - my OH has just reminded me of the "Testi kebab" which is cooked in a pot and then the top is smashed off at your table and the meal served on your plate.

Not fussed on The Waterfall, last 2 years I wasn't sure it was chicken I was eating. Every where else has been lovely, best chinese I ever had has been at The Majestic for the last 2 years running.

hi the majestic does a great full english with lovely cup of tea, also you have to try the leg of lamb(slow cooked for 8hrs) you have to order the day before but definately worth it, it is dished up at the table in front of you, my mouth is watering remembering it can't wait to get there to have it again! :cheers

The Florida does a good breakfast, as does Harry's Steakhouse, but almost everywhere offers a variety of breakfast options - you'll be spoiled for choice.

If only for the experience, try a Turkish breakfast one morning.

When in Turkey.........
