Was there last August and returning there next Thursday 30th. Its an amazing resort. First time i've ever returned to the same hotel

Fantastic news, we go on 3/9/09 for 2 weeks. We liked this hotel as last year we went on the snorkelling trip re: ras mohammed. This was a final stop off and it was the temple reef. Cant wait to go feel quite priviledged to be snorkelling there everyday.

Is there a specific block to request as the complex appears huge?

Yes the complex is huge. Room allocation really depends on your preference i.e. if you want to be close to the beach. specific pool,daily entertainment etc. Personaly I really enjoyed most around the Corl Pool and have requested rooms in this area. Its a matter of choice really. Also as you said, the snorkelling is amazing. You will love the whole experience of the Reef Oasis

hiya thinking of booking here for may 2010 for our silver wedding can any one tell me what its like for disabled people i can get around but walk with sticks also whats the best area to book into as i see its a big place also are the swimming pools easy accses if none of the above meets my criteria any one got any suggestions where to stay we really want to go to sharm el shiekh we have an 11 yr old child so it has to be child friendly many thanks x

Hi, is the corl pool a quieter area? or one of the main attractions. Dont mind really, got no children as mine are adults now so need somewhere central from everywhere, however, dont mind the walk either it is not like Egypt has british weather

Please don't laugh when I say I booked this hotel by accident and am actually dreading going here!!

I've read pretty much every single existing review on the internet about this hotel and although some of them have very high praise of the hotel others say it was awful - and its listed as 54th out of 211th on Tripadvisor - much higher than i'd liked!!

Can anyone who has been offer some advice - i.e what to do/what to avoid/what rooms do I want? and just generally put my mind at ease.

We are going on the 27th June from Manchester so if anybody else will be there around this time please let me know
