Been to Salou twice, both times in October. The first time we went we had 10 days out of the 14 were it rained heavily and was windy but when the sun eventually came out it was hot and lovely. That year however, everywhere around the Med had really bad weather. We went back 2 years ago and we had wall to wall sunshine for the whole 2 weeks. The weather can be abit more changeable in October but we always take our main holiday then and that year (2003 I think) was the only time we have experienced awful weather conditions.

Depending on when in October you are thinking of, we went in the half term week and had lovely weather about 4 or 5 years ago but the hotel had a lot of elderly spanish couples as the government give them a free holiday and they tend to take them before the start of our main holidaying period or towards the end i.e April and October.
