I have read that it can be cheaper to fly to Lanzarote and then get the ferry to fuerteventura.
Has anyone done this and is it feasable?
I can get a good deal on apartments but find the flights to Fuerte very dear.
Thanks in advance
We have recently returned from a fab holiday in Corralejo. I believe there are quite a few people doing what you suggest. Monarch are starting two new routes to Fuerte but I think that's in the autumn. I am not sure if you could get a bus from Lanzarote airport to the ferry port or not. Some car hire companies let you take cars across I think. You can find out the ferry fares on the websites for Fred Olsen lines (seacat) or Armas (ferry).
The people on the forum on http://www.fuerteventura.com will be able to help you much better than me I am sure.
