Can anyone help me. I have managed to check in on-line for my departing flight from Blackpool but today is exactly 4 weeks (28 days) before we return from Ibiza on 17th August and I am unable to check-in on-line for the inbound flight.

When I go to 'Manage my Booking' the page states 'Not Checked In Unavailable'. Is on-line check-in not an option or am I too early or am I completely missing something>?

Flight departs at 21:55 - can I only do on-line check-in from 21:55 tonight maybe (sounds too clever for JET2 this)!

Thanks for anyone who can help!

cpandk,

I would try again tomorrow, you might be a little early yet.

So you can definitely do on-line check in when departing from Ibiza - thought this may be the issue ???

cpandk,

You can as far as I know. As your flight won't be 28 days until later this evening, I suspect that's your problem so it should be available for check-in tomorrow.

Thanks Darren - may try tonight after 10pm if not tomorrow.

If it still doesn't work I'll be back on here asking for some help!

Thanks!!!!

Christine T - logged in to JET2 last night at 10pm and it allowed me to check-in on-line and book my seats. I tried at 9:30pm and it said check-in was not available. The return flight is 9:55pm so assume JET2 opens up the on-line check-in at exactly the time of departure... minus 28 days!

Incidentally, not sure if this is coincidence but it allocated me excatly the same seats as on my outbound journey! Unless you are after specific seats or extra legroom don't see why anyone should pay when you can do this for free and get decent seats - probably best to do this sooner rather than later though!

So now Sorted!

Hope you get sorted too and have a great holiday :sun2

Were you able to check in online for the inbound section before you used your outward flight? I know places in our resort that have internet access but not sure if I will need a printer to print off.....if I can do online checking for our inbound flight before I travel that would make life easier (does that make sense)?

We checked in on-line for our outbound flight first. I don't see any reason why you could not check in for your inbound flight before the outbound one (not sure why you wouldn't want to do a pre check-in of your outbound journey as better guarantee of good seats together and as it saves time??) Unless I have misread your question.

You just need to do this a max of 28 days before you are due to fly back, and anytime up to 5 hours before flying. Ideally you need to have access to a printer to print your boarding passes, this will mean you can check in quicker and easier via the bag drop check in. Otherwise you will need to queue up at regular check-in and they will provide you with a boarding pass.

Hope this answers your questions if not let me know.

Happy holidays! :cheers

Hi Hope i have understood your question, you can check in outbound and in bound 28days before and upto 5 hours before flying. If you check in two weeks before travel you can do both in bound and out bound and print off your boarding passes.
We did it this way a week before we traveled to ibiza.(hope i got your question right and you understand my response) :cheers it saves you trying to find internet with printer.

cpandk and oldies - thanks for your replies. I wasn't sure if I'd have to wait till I'd taken the outward flight before being able to check-in online for the inbound flight. If I can check in for both before we travel that's perfect as it would have been a right hassle trying to find internet access with printer availability in resort.

I am waiting for flights to be released for next year - they've released LBA and MAN but not NCL as yet, hope they do this soon becos' if they're stopping NCL to PMI route for summer 2010 I need to know ASAP so I can book LBA to PMI instead as my apartment is booked already. At least now I know I can do on the online check-in which will save us some pennies (and hopefully time at the airport both ends).

Thank you again! Happy hols! :cheers

Cpandk thanks for letting me know how you got on with your on line check in. I hope you have a fab time in Ibiza. Where are you staying ? We fly out the day you fly home and we are staying in Es Cana. It will be a big help checking in on line as it saves the wait at the airport and we won`t have to get to the airport as early.

Where are you staying in es cana?,we came back from there a couple of weeks ago.Th fast bag drop is fairly good at Ibiza airport,(or it was when we was there)

Oldies were staying at Vista al Mar. Thanks for info about bag drop it`s nice to know that there is one in Ibiza airport, was it a separte bag drop or was it the Jet 2 priority check in desk ? Would you mind poping on the Ibiza discussion forum to give us some more info about your recent visit to Es Cana.

Hi,

Just changed my 2010 holiday today and i'm now flying newcastle - malaga on 13th June 2010. On the internet it says flying with Channel Air Express but on the confirmation from the TC shop it says we're flying Jet2 on an A320. I've googled Jet2 A320 and it's only bringing up Jet2 as using 737's...are they the same aircraft or is there A320's in Jet2's fleet?

Jet 2 Operate Boeing 737-300's And 757-200's. They Do Not Operate Any Type Of Airbus

Channel Express was the name of the airline for 20 years when they mainly operated freight services. When they diversified in to passenger services, they were rebranded Jet2.com. As Gower mentions, they only operate Boeing aircraft, specifically the 737-300 and 757-200. They normally operate a Boeing 737-300 on the NCL-AGP through the summer months, substituted by a 757-200 at peak times. I think Thomas Cook have got the aircraft type incorrect on this occasion, it happens.
