Hi All
Well the credit crunch means no Turkey holiday this year.... :-( , but we are booked to go to Weymouth Haven , my sister owns a caravan there...we were wondering what beaches we are allowed on with dogs , we are going late september throught to 3rd october , i see some beaches are a no go till septemeber 30th...is it worth putting the holiday back or is there any beaches we can use to keep the dogs happy just for a paddle ?
Also , does anyone know if the pubs are dog friendly in weymouth ?
and finally , sorry ! , are the beaches sand or pebbles !??
Cheers
Dan

Sounds promising on all fronts!
brilliant , thanks phoebe , really appreciated !
You're welcome, LB Dan. Hope you and the dogs enjoy!
Part of it states that dogs must be kept on a lead and cleaned up after in all places accessible to the public, whether free or paid entry.
You didn't state which Haven so not sure which beach you are closest to, but basically from the jubilee clock to the pavilion end of weymouth beach is sand the rest is shingle although it is a sand base once in the water.
