clueless - agios nikolaos info?

Hiya everyone, im new to the crete forum on this website, have been visiting turkey the last few years but this year decided on a change and im off to crete on in less than 2 weeks! Although im a little worried as i cant seem to find much info on this resort, what i have read has been pretty brief and have seen a few comments that there is 'not much to do'. Im still young and enjoy going out on a night (dont worry not expecting the likes of malia etc. lol) but i was just wondering if it livens up a bit on the night and where the best places to go are! thanks hopefuly someone can give me some ideas

I'd say PLENTY to do

- especially near the 'centre' of town around the Lake.

POSITIVE you'll find Sorrento Bar a BIG hit. It was packed every night

It's by the bridge. They are on Facebook too.

And you could always google Agios Nicolaos Tourist Office .................

Trips away from Ag Nik could include Spinalonga - the former leper colony - the Lassithi Plateau, Heraklion and Knossos or Vai - the beach with the palm trees where many confectionery commercials have been filmed ...................

You are going to a wonderful island - enjoy it to the max.
