Hi
We're former grecophiles who are plannig to go to turkey this year for a change- love S/c, but in greece it's just got so expensive now that the euro is almost 1:1 -just so I can get my price bearings, how much would a pint of beer and a main course cost in hisaranou?
Also- can anyone give us a warts and all opinion on the St Nicholas Park Hotel & apts? We're going as 2 adults andd a 5 yr old, and this place seems to combine facilities for children, whith the closeness to the local life and freedom that the S/C option offers.
Thanks for any advice
Welcome to the forums afroditi. I can't tell you about the price of beer, but we do have a separate topic about the St Nicholas Park complex which you may like to have a look at, and feel free to post any specific questions in ...
we were in Hisaronu in May and June a pint of Effes is 4 lire the price was set at the start of the season and if bars advertise price for less than this they will be fined ,they can charge more than this but the ones we use dont ,it is the bars which are open until 5-6am that will, down at the beach we were paying 5 lire but you get picked up at your hotel and brought back free of charge, you can get a 3 course meal for 2 with a bottle of wine for 35 lire, the chinese we go to is £5.95 eat as much as you like, plenty of choice in restaurants we have never had a bad meal.
st nics is a great hotel with water slides, kids pool and alot more set in the pine forest above hisaronu village is but a short walk down hill going out up hill coming back but the setting and views are stunning so its worth the short walk
