We are off to Corfu on Friday and I am looking for a special restaurant to take my wife on the evening of her birthday. I know it is difficult recommending food as everyone's taste is different but we really want somewhere that (a) is romantic and aesthetically pleasing - good location, nice ambience etc., and (b) that has top quality food and service.

We are staying at Kalami, but will have a car and be going into Corfu Town at least once in the evening, so either of these locations, or anywhere in between, would be great.

After the meal I am thinking of going to the casino. Does anyone have any views on whether it is worth a visit? If so, what is the dress code and is their an entrance fee?
