never done connecting flights ( if this is the case) before...and im a bit confused....can anyone put my mind at rest....
HI, i have booked a holiday to Sri Lanka on 3rd Sept...bit concerned about the flight... stop at Doha then on to Columbo, flight lands 23.59 in Doha, then flight to Columbo is 00.50...which isnt to bad ( i hope) but on return, flight gets in to Doha at 12.00 then Doha returning to heathrow is at 12.30.... does anyone know whether these would just be fuel stops or is it connecting flights?...just doesnt seem very long to get off one plane and get on to the next....aaaargh never done connecting flights ( if this is the case) before...and im a bit confused....can anyone put my mind at rest....

I asume you're flying with Qatar Airways? These are connecting flights so you'll swap aircraft in Doha. 30 minutes does seem a little tight, but those who use Qater and connect through Doha say it can be done. The airline wouldn't allow the booking unless it was feasible.

Hi, thanks for your reply, yes we are flying with Qatar..... wasnt really thinking about the flight times when i booked the holiday... well didnt really listen to them properly ( well not the Doha bit 
)....just had bit of a shock when i received confirmation details today, but was to late to phone up tour operator...Ah well... i wont be hitting the duty free then.....
