Thanks every body for the brilliant replies. Youve somewhat put my mind at ease but also gave me ideas i wouldnt of thought of i.e bank card and getting alcohol from dalaman airport. Cheers everybody

Why not get your alcohol from your departure airport, we did this last year and got 2x 1lt bottles of smirnoff for £18 maybe a bit more this year. We sure enjoyed the vodka sat on our balcony on an evening before we went out :cheers

Bodrum airport have 4 70cl bottles of Smirnoff for £23 :cheers I've just got back from 17 nights in Gumbet, we averaged about £130 a day for 3 of us, we ate out for every meal though, bought inflatables, a million ice creams, boat trips, and drank lots and lots and were not careful at all about what we spent...it could be done loads cheaper if you ate and drank at cheaper places, it is definitey possible....

antique palace close to loads of good cheap restauarnts, no need for euros, my biggest tip is take a box of wine in your luggage.

But think how much extra weight you'd have for presents to bring home :D (not necessarily for other people!!! ;) )

HI ,

Well sounds to me like your well sorted already and would agree with the above you should have plenty of money.

Also as above in Marmaris euros are not needed. I found around Side area euros are asked for as there are more german dutch travellers about where Marmaris there are far more of us brits!
