I was in a similar position when we went away at Easter. We were all on temporary contracts and they could only keep half of us after our contracts finish at the end of this month (August). We all had to go through a process of basically re-applying for our jobs and I knew I would have to have an "informal" interview with management a couple of days after coming back from my Easter holiday I went off on my holiday and probably spent a total of about 10 minutes during the whole holiday worrying about it - there was no way I was going to let it spoil the holiday I'd worked hard for! I didn't get the job in the end , but I got a fantastic reference from them and now have a new job to start in September, so it's all good!kazza36 wrote:frantically looking for another job, as I am going into consultation in my current role, so threat of redundancy is upon me by the 28/09, so actually this has come at the worst time
Just enjoy this holiday you've worked hard for and sort out your work worries when you get back!
