I think the location is key to these apartments.

They are a taxi ride away from Ayia Napa in the Macronissos area...just across the road to the Olympic Lagoon resort actually which features on most accom maps. A taxi each way will be the best part of 8-10 Euro which you'd have to factor in as there's very little on your doorstep. A couple of pubs, a trendy newish bar across the road with a couple of supermarkets. Not really enough to keep you entertained in the evening. You do have the best beach on your doorstep though IMHO, Macronissos Beach.

I looked at these apartments before they were refurbished and they were awful, very old, very 70s and in need of a serious injection of cash, however their prices were very high even then, mainly because at the back of the apartments they lead directly onto a small beach.

I looked at them again after the refurb in May this year and they are lovely, night & day to how they were before, but I can't believe the prices they're asking It smacks of them trying to recoup their refurb costs. Is it worth it ? I'm not convinced at those prices to be honest for how much time you actually spend in any accom on holiday in Cyprus.

If you like the area though there are several cheaper options, The Tsokkos Pardise Villlage also across the road from So Nice and also the Macronissos Village (Olympic owned & only available through them) I've stayed in both and they're both lovely apartments. The Paradise Village is only 3 years old & the Mac Village was refurbished 18 months ago.
