Hello i have just got back from what was meant to be a 2 week stay in the Sonmez hotel, like so many others that stayed there we were really disappointed, I have just posted a review on trip advisor but it has not gone live yet but i will not be returning. The hotel owner and staff are rude and you have to pay extra for air conditioning, fridge & a kettle. The room my and my partner were given (After 6 hours of waiting) was disgusting! blocked toilet, bin not emptied, sheets not cleaned, spare beds dumped in the room. We didn't even stay one night and left the hotel the day we got there and rented an apartment for 2 weeks. I'm sorry to give you such a bad response and i hope you don't worry too much about going back as apart from the hotel it was the best holiday ever! If you search "sonmez hotel trip advisor" into google and click the top link you can see some recent reviews. I hope your hotel experience is better than mine and you have a good time.

Couldn't rad and nost post, have read the reviews..... surely this should be reported to the local council, Beldibi I think... and the tourism police.

Any nearby residents or other forums may be able to advise..... they can shut down restaurants.... so I cant see why not accomodation.

It is booked and paid for now so fingers crossed.We would only be using it as a base anyway. I have been on trip advisor and there are other reviews which are similar to yours so I am getting a little worried(I am not showing my wife she would only worry) I will just concentrate on the good ones.It always confuses me that the same Hotel can have such bad reviews and also really good ones!! Thanks again I will let you know what our experience is like.

Hopefully the hotel would have seen the reviews and got there act together. I don't understand the good reviews on the site i think people who have been going there for years might get special treatment. Hope your stay isn't as bad as ours and if your just using it as a base you should be fine. Let me know how you get on. Shane

HELP!!!
I am getting worried I have heard alot of bad things recently about the above Hotel. Please if anybody can give me some poitive feedback to calm my fears(we are going on 02/09/09) When we booked the reviews where good but since then bad. Just a small crumb of comfort would be nice.
