I will be visiting the Costa Del Sol in September for the first time and will be staying at the Don Marco Hotel. i would be most grateful for the following information,
1.The location of this hotel, is it near the nightlife, shops bars ect. (we are in the 50's age group)
2. What are the best sights to see.
3.How long is the transfer time from the airport, is it better by coach or taxi.
4.Can anyone recommend a bar with entertainment.
5. what is the weather like at the end of September.
We usually go to Benidorm twice a year in June and September but have decided to try the Costa del Sol in September this year.

You've picked a lovely hotel. The Don Marco is on a complex with 2 other hotels, Don Pablo and Don Pedro. There are 9 swimming pools to choose from and 2 jacuzzis within the complex.
The hotel is just a across the road from the beach, there are a few nik nak shops along the front and bars ( sorry can't recommend any bars, we usually just have a drink at the hotel when we have had a walk at night as we have a toddler).
More shops are at up the the top of the town, there a couple of routes up to the town or you could get the lift up.
Transfer time to Torremolinos is about 15 or 20 mins or longer depending how many hotels the coach stops at.
Not sure on what sites to see it depends if you want to travel a bit or just stay in resort.
We went to Torremolinos last September near the end of the month and the weather was mixed so this year we have decided to at the start of the month. 3 weeks today till we go to the Don Pablo.
