Captain Pier Hotel in Pernera

My GF stayed in a small Family run hotel called Captains Pierre in Pernera maybe 15 years ago before she met me.

We are trying to find if it is still there, We are thinking it has either been sold or they changed the name of it as it is hard to find, she cant remember much else about it, so can any one help us find it if it is still there or know if it has a new name/owner.

I know it is a long shot with it being 15+year ago but any help appreciated.

Yeh, Thanks thats the one, trying to find it on Google earth now but Captain Pier aint coming up.

your axsis for google earth are... 35deg 01 min 54.55sec N x 32deg 02min 23.98sec E

that will hit the pool :think

so hope you can swim :rofl

yeh found it thanks, cant find a tour operator selling it though.

you dont know of any one with this in there brochure for summer 2010 from glasgw do you??

i think Olympic did it last year have you tried them? Otherwise why dont you call the hotel itself? It is in a lovely position.Hope you get sorted :cheers

I can't seem to find a TO offering this accommadation, so I reckon you're going to have to go the DIY route..

Hi,

The Captain Pier is still there they are now with TUI Scandanavia. We also stayed there a few times they are a lovely family. If you are looking for somewhere similar to stay I can recommend The Domniki Apartments also run by a lovely family and a stones throw from Captain Pier in an even better position literally right on the beach.

The Domniki are with Olympic at the moment but are changing to Manos next year.

We stayed at the Captain Pier for the last 2 weeks October about 5 years ago. It was OK but we would not go back to that accommodation. Not seen it in any of the UK brochures lately. Also, we stopped in the Seagull just up the road, it was much better, more friendly, better pool etc.
