From oct-march- it is usually the older crowd- we stayed at the venus last oct- I was the youngest there (40), and my son (16) was the only child there Stayed at the orange too the previous october- and was the same story there!

If you are wanting a younger crowd- what about the hotel perla 2* B&B (Cheap and cheerful- and on the sqaure)- this hotel tends to get attract the younger end (Prob because it's cheap). I'v stayed here- a very nice hotel- with massive rooms, and the breakfast is really nice! - but wouldnt recommend it in the summer months- too many hen and stag do's- and was too noisy for us!!! Dec- should be fine!

I'd also consider looking at self-catering too! - as most of the older end to prefer half?full board option.

Personally- I would rather stay at a hotel where the holiday makers are oap's- as it's lovely and quiet- no rowdiness- and round the hotel venus pool- you could hear a pin drop!- and we had the pool to ourselves most days! We had the best of both- lovely quiet hotel- and lively at night!

you don;t say how old you are.i can understand if you in you 20s.wishing to have more people your age in hotel.but really your a lot safer in the calypso/venus.only noise you tend to get is the long goodnights when they come out of lifts.

hotel orange or pueblo will be the same as well.end of the day you only use the hotel to sleep wash and eat.ok sunbath if you get the good weather.i stay in the calypso feb time.and thats all i use it for.rest of the time i am out and about.

I think ive read somewhere that the Hotel Perla closes down in the Winter months, but not certain!

That's a shame! As this hotel would have probably been ideal- bang in the centre of things!
