Hello Everyone,
This is my first post in the forum My Hubby & I are heading to sunny day hotel for 2 weeks & really looking forward to it..however on reading the reviews on the hotel..Im a bit nervous..hubby is 70yrs old..I'm a recycled teenager lol..we're wondering how safe the whole area is..we like being on the beach. rather than staying by the pool....is it safe to do so...what about walking at night.....is it safe? I would really appreciate any info tips where to eat(we're not fussy)but hubby loves his pints lol...thank you in advance.
Billy's Bistro always gets decent reports but if you like Indian then Bombay Grill, Mexican is Marmacita's, and Djanny's is usually good .
Most of the worries about walking about at night refer to the very young drunken individuals going onto the beach with new found "friends" only to find 3's a crowd. You should have no worries whatsoever.
Beach is a safe place during the day and evening just remeber to not accept fruit off the gypsy sellers or you'll be owing them £'s.

Thanks for the reply toonman...
Heading into the resort centre you will pass the police station, Hotel Diamond and the market area is just past them with lots of decent places to shop, eat out.
