Hi
Does anybody know how far is it from Marmaris to Calis Beach, can this journey be done by boat or coach? We are staying in Marmaris next year and want to visit relatives staying in Calis Beach.

Coaches leave marmaris every hour during the day to go to Fethiye, Go to the bus station in Marmaris which is beside Tansas and the dolmus bus station If you were to walk away from the beach take the first left after the above and the tickets can be purchased from the three shops that sell the tickets immediately on your left.

Can anyone tell me pls is Calis and Calis Beach are the same place or two different places? 
I think it would take quite a while at the least 2 1/2 hours each way from Marmaris to Fethiye, then you would need to get to Calis Beach, maybe by dolmus or taxi. If you are planning to go in the height of the season would be quite exhausting to do there and back in a day, probably better to stay overnight.
Mums the word, as far as holiday resorts go , yes they are the same. But there are other places called calis that have nothing to do with the holiday industry , I doubt if you will come across these.

very much doubt it, it's too far for a taxi boat
It took us 90 minutes via a car last month, I havent used the Bus so cant advise.
the bus takes about 2 1/4 hours marmaris to fethiye then either dolmus direct to calis or go into fethiye harbour then water taxi over to calis, you should be able to get lodgings for a cheap stay over night
