We are going to Sousse in a couple of days but we are getting a bit confused about dress codes reading very different reports from differing forums, some are saying there is a dress code walking around the town others are saying there isn't same with the Hotels some are saying men have to wear long trousers others are saying shorts will do not swimming shorts,have been to Turkey many times and there is a dress code in certain places mainly religous but basically you can wear what you like, I wear dress type shorts and shirt mostly around the towns and in restaurants my wife always dresses appropriately,we do have respect for the countries we visit and do not wish to upset anyone I was not going to take any long trousers because of the heat,but can anyone clarify if the dress we will be wearing will be appropriate.
