NCL GEM various Nov dates Suite deals
This is 7 night Ex Barcelona Sunday departures from now till 22 Nov
AD/AE suites from $999+£103 tax on ncl.com
NCL suite perks are very good so this is a good price.
Insides from $499+tx.
An on-line US TA should be able to knock some of this but the one I checked has higher prices.
Seabourn Legend Med Oct 10, if you can get a booking through the US it is $2500 for 7 days.
This is AI and tips included.

This is about the same as a courtyard villa on the NCL Gem at the same time.
Another good deal is the TA a bit later.
Mediterranean 26 September 2009
14 nights NO FLYING
Southampton, Vigo, Lisbon, Cadiz, Cagliari, Civitavecchia for Rome, Livorno for Florence/Pisa, Cannes, Gibraltar, Southampton.
Price includes port taxes, meals and entertainment.
Prices From : £ 869.00pp
From CruiseFinders
The 5 day, and 4 day pricing looks strange, and it could be that the cruise prices are transposed on teletext (Page 227, page 4 of a number of pages). The OBC is a lot for short cruises but could be utilised for gratuities ($11pppd) and trips as well as drinks etc.
Taking account of the generous OBC these are superb deals, both from and return to Southampton.
I was checking last night and there were GTY OV (HH) for £777 inc tax and tips, so the cruise was £699 which is not bad for a baltic.
Balcony £877
Plenty of TAs it low prices if you can get flights, some as low as £25pppn for the cruise but flights back from South America pricy
Med Nov/Dec stuff at OK prices on BCL,RCI and Celebrity with the odd 55+ discount
Caribbean at under £1k, a few
Xmas/NY holiday some availability on normaly full ships and lower prices on others(still premium)
This one caught my eye since the headline price is the magic £50pppn.(found researching the where is the Ocean Countess question)
It is on the old Marco Polo which now sails for a new cruiseline dedicated to the british market which I know very little about.

2nd Jan £1499 30 night round trip UK west indies with 12 port days
http://cruisemaritime-live.1minus1testing.com/choose-a-cruise/View-Cruise-Details.aspx?CruiseId=72
Some readme stuff for the cruise opperator
http://cruisemaritime-live.1minus1testing.com/before-you-sail/index.aspx
Gratuities are £4pppn for more than 16days so add £120 (very resonable I think)
Adult(16+) only
On board is in £
2 sitting dinner
Smoking policy vague
Update also available through readers offers
http://www.readeroffers.travel/exclusive_offers.asp?sec_id=2988
£10pppn choice of ships and dates, 14-18 nights.
MSC TAs to South America looks like any available cabin all the same price
eg MSC opera 26oct 17n £169.
Flights are the issue.
Any agent should have them but seen at these 2 on-line
http://www.cruise.co.uk
http://www.cruise1st.co.uk
MSC may not be first choice, but the Opera is one of the newest ships and personally would not hesitate.
Currently trying to put a deal together for the Independence TA in Nov, got the 13n down to £650 inc flight so far, for an inside though.
Apart from the various Caribbean ports, one of the things we loved was the atmosphere during the 5 days crossing up on deck enjoying the sunshine although there did not appear to be much else of real interest going on in the ship. I seem to recall you once saying you do not do "sun" so maybe not for you. Whilst we would not hesitate again at the right price, Costa is certainly not in the same class as RCI
Do like to have a few other things going on though so we have distractions from eating and drinking.
Solarium style pool area adult only works, so we like the Celebrity millenium class I think IoS has something like this.
The IoS is £699 with UK TAs, £439 cruise only(but these have gone today), none I tried will go lower, so I think I will have to DIY.
The £210 flight has gone(bt-store) so looking out for another cheap one that comes back on the right day/time so we can tag on the 7n NCL jewel cruise.
Might have left this too late thinking about it.
update
RCI deals gone for the inside GTY at £439 will have to see if any TAs have a cabin, RCI have them all sold.
update 2
They have come back so now have one on hold(silly I did not think ofthat before)
I thought the on-line price included the discount but it is taken off later so £420 cruise only.

There are lots of T/A's around at sensible prices, although if you are trying to get on another ship following then not always working out! Best of luck.

These have now gone down to $799+tx for the suites
NCL GEM - AD/AE suites
I have done 16 cruise in last 10yrs all but one (Pullmantur) on Thomson ships.
Next years prices on Thomsons look ridiculous, looking at 7nt Celebration in June A/I =£2530 for 2 of us.Done x2 cruises on IE this year, last one in August + paid £1630 A/I booked in July. Now thinking its time to try "big ships".Looking for short break cruise as a taster but not from Southampton,to far from Liverpool.
Priced one from Barcelona on 3rd June,,,Adventure of the Seas,,4nts in balcony cabin on deck 7 quoted £424 pp inc grats + service charge by RCI.Can get flights from Liverpool @ £206,total price=£1054
One online T/A quoted £403pp not sure if this included charges/grats .
Can you experts on this thread say if this good deal or not or should i wait.
PS,Do these ships disembark early enough for me to get 11:00 flight.
PPS,back on I/E in November, think i'll be sick of it after that.

Best price have an inside for $451 + tax on the 8th with $100 OBC and free wine Mini Suites at $704 with $100 OBC and free wine. Also on the 15th Nov $704 for an AE and AD but no OBC plus an A3 Villa sleeping 5 for $1210 ($386 for the 3rd 4th and 5th person) To get these prices I had to put in my Lattitude number
Flights from Luton are about £60 each with easyjet
Also if you use https://seaweb.it.ncl.com/sw/ConsumerIndex.do and want to go 27/9 you can get a mini suite for 938 euros for 2
There is only 1 left
I just priced up a RCI TA on the RCI site and the 4 TAs phoned could/would not match the price for cruise only.
Don't forget that is you take the booking throught to payment they knock 5% of the cruise fare(not the tx,tips)
The short cruises are a bit more popular so per day prices are a little higher than a longer one.
remeber drinks tend to be a little more expensive as well.
Can you find time for the Navigator 30oct 5 night this year , £275 is,£325 bal,£525 Jsuite + £25 tips flights to Malaga(say £70+bags LPL).
get your taster in now so you can plan properly for next year.
(Note: 55+ rate for the Junior suite is £395)
As people know we are a fan of NCL but have the freerstyle down pat so don't suffer the problems a lot of people do over queues.
NCL have some good deals in Nov on the Gem ex BCN for a 7night taster for not a lot more you can have asuite and the perks that come with it.
Mandy, just rechecked the Gem AE/AD for Nov 8th
AE, $999. lat rate $799
it is important to check the latitudes box and over 55(for people that qualify) on NCL.com
Navigator on 30th Oct not an option i am on Island Escape on 6th Nov to Canaries.
Always stuck with Thomsons because of A/I,not that i'm big drinker but its convenient.
Bill on IE in August was £42 (few pints of Guiness + wifeys bingo).
But now i think Thomsons are having a laugh with the pricing.
Now that free A/I finished end of Aug + its now £169 each, if you dont drink that much + dont want the A/I, deals on other ships are on par or cheaper,as you say NCL.
