We went to Kransja Gora in Slovenia in 2007. Watch the snow reports... we had an awful week weather wise although still able to ski every day on well groomed piste..

loved it. Cheap as chips, great hotels, lovely people... very small resort and everything was in easy walkable distance. Highly recommend this place as a ski resort. Austrian looking but half the price.
